We were first on the way to the Zugspitze. The whole area around the cable car was so crowded that it was clear to us that it would be a suicide mission. So drove away again and happened upon the Karwendel. The waiting time at the cable car was short (about 20 minutes) and after about 10 more minutes we were at the mountain station. From there, about half an hour of mountain climbing and you are on the summit at 2384m. It was just breathtaking !!! Who needs the crowd at the Zugspitze ???

Despite the great safety and hygiene concept at the entrance to the valley station, we were crammed into the gondola like a herd of sheep on the descent.

The view was fantastic. The catering trade was a disaster. Poorly organized processes annoy the guests. First you have to place your order at the checkout. You get the coffee and cold drinks immediately, while z. B. on the Kaiserschmarrn then waits and waits. When the Kaiserschmarrn finally came, there was the coffee, at least for 3.20 euros only lukewarm.
